- The main raison d'etre of TP4 over the other ones are that it handles
- error correction and multiplexing (in the transport layer). But X.25
- already does this for you in the net layer, so transport doesn't have to.
- You usually run TP1 over X.25, or if you have a bad X.25 net or require
- extremely low error rates, TP3.
