  15. Machine Freezes when a large block of text is highlighted in
  16. Microsoft Word 5.0
  17.  
  18. Computer Used:
  19. SE/30 with 5 MB RAM running System 6.0.5, QuicKeys 2, After Dark
  20. 2.0v, Shiva Telebridge 3.6.4 and Appleshare 3.0.  There are 14
  21. similarly configured Macs on this network and all have frozen at
  22. one time or another when the above task was tried.

  24. History of Problem
  25. The network is a straight Localtalk system with a IIfx as a server
  26. and 18 nodes.  A Farallon StarController was in place for about 8
  27. months, and a Tribe LocalSwitch has been in place since.  This
  28. problem has occured with equal frequency on both hubs.
