- Get a document called "AppleShare 3.0 Developer's Kit - Users and
- Groups Programming Interface" from APDA. Everything you need to make
- a new U&G file out of an ASCII file. It's called the Ashare 3.0 dev
- kit but this document applies to Personal file sharing also. (The
- other documents are on AFP 2.1 and server control and event
- handling.)

- I'm not waiting for an app though. Has anyone used the new Quickeys?
- I haven't but I had this thought. What if you recorded a desktop QK
- then just executed it on the other machines? Does this feature work?
- It wouldn't be too automatic but at least you only type the names
- once? VU isn't meant to be a macro program except for developers who
- include some testing framework in test versions of their programs
- (i.e. programs only respond to VU events when the responder code has
- been compiled into the programs) and the finder does not have the U&G
- set-up program doesn't have this code there.
