  17. We did this by using CAP.  Its AFP and PAP servers support a -X option
  18. for authentication; we modified the AFP server to check the user's name
  19. and password against the Kerberos database.

  21. Note that you don't get any added security by using Kerberos in this case,
  22. since the password gets sent from the Mac to the AFP server in plaintext.
  23. It is just a convenient way to store lots of user ID's and passwords.
