- To avoid any misunderstanding I would like to emphasize that C* is
- just one input to the ANSI parallel C standardization process. A
- number of companies and individuals, including Thinking Machines and
- MasPar, are involved in the process. C* will be an important
- influence, but it is by no means a "defacto standard".
