- Why aren't PDD's (Physical Device Drivers) 32-bit? I can understand
- *allowing* for 16-bit PDD's to allow 1.x PDD's to work with 2.0, but
- why aren't new PDD's 32-bit? Clearly OS/2 2.0 can deal with the
- concept of a 32-bit driver, since VDD's (Virtual Device Drivers) are
- 32-bit.

- I assume that some future release of OS/2 will allow 32-bit PDD's.
- Has IBM said when that will be?
