- I just opened my very own upgrade box's seal wrapper earlier tonight
- (OK, earlier this morning... :) I always register my products... so the
- card is sitting in my outgoing mail pile right now. I do wish that it
- was more clear why there is a small card labeled "5.25-inch diskettes
- registration card" and a larger card labeled "Registration Card for OS/2
- Support" which actually has the registration number on it. The latter
- one looks to be more important, but you'd think that IBM could squirt
- the data you put on the cards between the two divisions (the former is
- to be mailed to Racine, Wisconsin; the latter to Boca Raton, Florida, to
- the OS/2 Support Line). I find it amusing that the latter forms asks if
- you live in a city or not... first time I've ever seen that on a
- software registration card.
-
- To think... I have spent more on the Red Books than I have for the
- actual software. :) (Clarification: I *WILL* have spent more on the Red
- Books as soon as I finally get a bill for them; my copy of OS/2 is an
- upgrade from 1.x which I obtained for free.)
