- I have run MSD succesfully on both HPFS and FAT file systems under OS/2. Did
- you set the DOS session you tried to run MSD in that it was to report to
- MSD.EXE that it was version 4.01 of DOS?
- Go to the icon for the full screen DOS session in which you run MSD
- and open up it's settings notebook (click the second or middle mouse over the
- DOS full screen icon, click on the arrow to the right of "Open" in the menu
- and then choose "Settings"), go to the "Session" page and click on the "DOS
- Settings" button. Next choose the "DOS_VERSION" setting and at the end of
- the list type the following line:
- MSD.EXE,4,01,255
-
- This means that OS/2 DOS emulation is to report to MSD.EXE that it is running
- under DOS 4.01 and that OS/2 is to tell it this up to 255 times. Now click on
- the "Save" button in the bottom left and close the notebook. Start your
- DOS full screen session and see if MSD will run now. It has for me everytime!
