- Well, that's a different story! If it doesn't work from DOS, either,
- it probably means that you haven't configured the card. Did you run
- the INSTALL program that comes with it (on the first driver disk)?
- When you do, there should be a section for configuring the card. Be
- sure that the monitor type has been selected properly. If you select
- a monitor that doesn't support 800x600, the card will refuse to
- activate that mode. Two common settings are:

- NEC Multisync 3D - 800x600, and 1024x768 interlaced
- NEC Multisync 4D - 800x600, and 1024x768 non-interlaced.

- I always advise people to pick one of these two if the card doesn't
- have an exact match on its list. Note that if you pick a monitor with
- more capability than the one you have installed, the card will let you
- select a resolution you can't display, which could cause problems.

- Note also, that the NEC Multisync 2A will NOT support 1024x768.
