- I recently had a strange problem with my program template. If I
- dragged the program template onto the desktop to make a program
- object, the application specified in the new program object would be
- unable to find its help and/or dll files even though the libpath and
- help paths were specified correctly.
-
- If I copied an existing program object (not template) from the desktop
- and used it to setup the new app, then everything worked fine.
- Suspecting extended attribute problems, I ran chkdsk /f:3 which did
- find an ea error, but the problem still remained afterwards.
-
- I finally fixed the problem by deleting the original program
- template (no small feat in itself) and converting a working
- program object into a new template. Now all is well again.
-
- Anyone got any ideas on this one?
