- Actually, it seems to me that the FSFILTER.SYS is necessary to
- access the boot drive (hard drive C:) in write mode regardless of
- whether the drive is formatted in HPFS or DOS. Will FSFILTER.SYS work
- if I boot from a DOS floppy after re-formatting my hard drive for HPFS
- so that I can access the data on the hard drive under a separate DOS
- session, without loading OS/2 or using specific DOS sessions etc.?
