- One annoying aspect of OS/2 is ballistic mouse tracking. (I assume that the
- behaviour is not only in my mouse, a cheap Microsoft-clone.)
-
- I really want linear mouse tracking, at least as an option. I don't
- believe that ballistic tracking is needed to get across big screens:
- I don't have one on my OS/2 machine but I work sometimes on a Mac
- with a 2-page display and can easily get from on corner to the opposite
- one without lifting the mouse.
-
- Is mouse tracking like this handled in MOUSE.SYS? Can someone who has
- dabbled in device drivers :-) cobble together one or patch the existing one
- to provide linear tracking?
