- I've been getting a lot of these, too, ever since I changed from RLL to IDE.
- I'm guessing that some controllers work better than others in a multitasking
- environment. Try adding the following call to your config.sys:

- CALL=C:\OS2\CMD.EXE

- This will put you at a command prompt before launching program manager. Now
- try doing a backup or copy or whatever and see if you get failures. My drive
- works reliably from this state. I'm curious to hear if yours does as well.
