- My system is suffering from a very wierd keyboard problem,
- My system configuration is:
-
- Gateway 2000 386/33
- 2 80 Meg IDE hard drives
- 8 Megs of RAM
- Gateway 2000 CrystalScan 1024ni monitor
- Gateway 2000 Anykey Keyboard
-
- The problem is that whenever I press shift-T the entire keyboard
- seems to lock in to the shifted mode. In other words, instead of
- getting "g" I get "G" and when I press "7" I get "&" It is not
- like Caps Lock, it is as if I was still pressing the Shift key.
- This only happens when I press Shift and t. I can "unshift" the
- keyboard by pressing Shift again.
-
- Now for the wierd part--- This only happens when I am in a dos or
- windows application, not in a os/2 application. Also, if I use the
- dual boot feature, It works fine in dos applications. This only
- happens in OS/2 dos sessions.
-
- Any help with this problem would be greatly appreaciated.
-
- -THANKS (see, it just did it)
