  12. As a followup some fiddling with Borland help screen did the trick:

  14. I deleted WNHELP.EXE (think that's the name) in the \OS2\MDOS\WINOS2\
  15. and replaced it with the same file from the Borland 3.1 package.

  17. I haven't noticed any side effects from doing this.

  19. Since it works, I gave up fiddling, but it COULD be because in the
  20. AUTOEXEC, the path statement has ...\WINOS2\ before \BORLANDC\BIN\
  21. (where the newer/different help .exe resides.

  23. Perhaps changing the order would help.

  25. As I said, the newer help program works with all the other apps I
  26. threw at it, including Excel 4.0, W4W 2.0, MathCad, and, of course,
  27. Borland C++
