- It's NOT that simple. Indeed, many have expressed harsh criticism of
- the arbitrariness of antitrust laws on this and similar points. A recent
- antitrust case against Kodak, for example, saw them condemned as trying
- to corner the market for maintenance of their upmarket photocopiers (by
- overcharging would-be independent maintainers for spare parts, etc);
- Kodak did try to defend itself by pointing out that, even narrowly
- defining the market as "upper-end photocopiers", they only had some
- FAR from controlling % of it (I don't recall, maybe 20%). Kodak lost.
