-
- A very reasonable question, actually.
-
- Dial (800)227-4679. When the automated phone system answers,
- press 4 to get the Programmer's Development Tools dept (or some such).
- When the operator answers (and the delay was quite short for me) ask to get
- the Win32 Preliminary SDK or just Windows NT--they seem to know
- what you're talking about.
-
- Give them your credit card number. The cost is $81.79 including
- tax and ground shipping.
-
- The salesperson confirmed that one gets the final release of Windows NT
- free with this offer (as has been confirmed numerous times here).
-
- Anybody can order the kit. They made no attempt to screen me,
- and I'm sure they didn't know that I've been a faithful Microsoft
- customer since 1983.
