  15. Hello... there must be others out there who are having X ver 1.1 troubles?  
  16. I've seen at least two other posts which sound like the same symptoms as mine:

  18.     X server running fine
  19.     xterm, xclock, xeyes, xsetroot -bitmap ...  work fine
  20.     twm, xsetroot -solid <color>, xcalc         just hang

  22. Any suggestions, anyone?  Next step, I suppose, is to get the src for
  23. one of these buggers and start with gdb, but I'm lazy!
