  23. My package on sc.tamu.edu is a multivolume compressed tar snapshot of
  24. an installed MCC-interim with the four X11 volumes added.  I felt it
  25. would be dishonest for me to take credit for your major effort in putting
  26. MCC-interim together, in contrast to my simple snapshot repackaging,
  27. so I left the MCC-interim banner on logon, while asking in the
  28. README and INSTALL documents for all questions to come to me. I have
  29. received a *LARGE* number of questions and suggestion by email, but 
  30. do apologize for any that were misdirected to you.  I am planning an
  31. updated set of readmes for the TAMU package this weekend.  I will
  32. try to clarify this further in the readmes, and if you prefer, I 
  33. would be happy to change the logon banner to something like
  34. "TAMU package of MCC-interim".  I certainly want you to retain
  35. credit for your work in assembling MCC-interim, which has been 
  36. such a boon to the linux community, while understanding your concern
  37. for clarification of the package involved in a given user question.
