- At the moment I have just installed Linux 0.96c
- and have it booting from hard disk. I followed the recent
- installation instructions and now have a problem.
-
- On the machine I have OS/2 DOS and Linux, before I put Linux on
- the machine would start with the OS/2 boot manager and you select
- which partition you want to boot from.
- Now Linux wini starts and indicates boot: and you select
- which partition you want to start from. OS/2 is only available from
- the boot manager and if you select it, you get the boot manager anyway
- and still have the option of booting DOS OS/2 and Linux (redundant booting!).
-
- In other words it is like having TWO boot managers at start up
- The Question is ?
- How do I fix it so I only start with the OS/2 boot manager
- and still be able to boot Linux without problems?
-
- All replies greatfully appreciated.
- Regards
- David
