- I should have been more specific. I know these things can be handled very
- well in X, but I was looking for writing programs outside X, hoping for
- more speed. The library "vgalib" seems to be good for graphics. But mouse
- handling seems to be a specialists work. About text mode line/box drawing
- extended characters, I think it's possible, (through curses ?).

- engineering stuff. I was hoping to add graphics and improve the get up of
- the programs, without concentrating too much on them.
