  12. Well, I am useing .96, no patches.
  13. I am useing xcomm to communicate.  ;)
  14. I want to get newer everything, so I want to start with a commercial
  15. ftp/telnet service.  IDS.com
  16. I connected, and got an account, however, when the menu comes up,
  17. there is one problem.  The terminal gets put into graphics mode, and won't
  18. restore.  :(
  19. As a workaround, I started xcomm on another vc, and 'took over' the communication.
  20. I then quit and logout from problem terminal.  stty sane, setterm -init -reset
  21. -clear, anyother  method, just doesn't work.
  22. only sync, then C-A-D seems to work.

  24. I figure that the solution is to get the latest of everything, but I can't until
  25. I get this to work.  :(

  31. PS, solutions requireing me to compile something won't work, as I accidentally
  32. rm'ed the include directory(gcc 2.1)    :(
