- Has something gone wrong somewhere along the road from (I think) pre-0.96
- and 0.96. My machine is not the best for what I want to do, 25MHz 386,
- 2 Megs RAM, 8 Meg swap partition, but in the past it was perfectly usable.

- Re-compiling the kernel took about 3/4 hr, X was usable, just.
- Now, recompiling - 2 1/4 hrs
- X is a pig. Running xlock (for kicks), the swarm of bees (or whatever)
- look like they are flying through pea soup!! - they didn't used to.

- Is this some unique problem, or have others noticed it.
