- Um, it seems that AT&T may have decided to get touchy about use of the word
- "Unix" without hanging a (tm) and so on after the word. Check comp.os.386bsd
- for the gorey details on this. At any rate, comp.unix.anything may very
- well be an invitation to problems should AT&T decide to contest the use.

- While the above may seem a triffle silly or extreme, I should point out that
- my wife practices trademark law. As I know from discussing trademark law
- with her, this sort of defense of a name is not unreasonable. In fact, AT&T
- is obliged to protect its names if it hopes to retain the trademark.
