- I thought something like that.
-
- There is no reason that the poster of the RFD needs to be in any
- particular part of the world or under any particular domain. He only
- needs to follow the guidelines. Which means that I could do it (and I
- don't pay for Usenet access, since I am a student and use the
- university's networking), but since I am mostly opposed to the idea, I
- won't.
-
- So what's it gonna be, splitters? _DO_ you really want a split of
- comp.os.linux, or do you not? If you want it badly enough, post an RFD,
- and get the ball rolling. It isn't going to happen by itself, and I am
- under the impression that any discussion before an RFD (and probably
- outside of news.groups) is going to be wasted, as far as the guidelines
- are concerned. So do something, or let the thread die.
-
- Post an RFD, or stop wasting everybody's time with splitting discussion.
