- In the defense of the IEEE policy on selling standards, it's worth
- pointing out that the proceeds from such sales support the IEEE
- standards program. In some respects, I don't mind the IEEE selling
- the standards, but I think they cost too much.

- Many of us in the POSIX 'business' were outraged by the price of
- $45.00 for the P1003.1 interpretations document. This works out to
- more than $1.00 per page!
