- I will also have to agree that WP51 is the best DOS word processor.
- For Windows word processors, I use Word 2.0 and love it! I can't imagine
- anythng being better. But AMI Pro 3.0 just came out-- it might be worth
- checking into, since AMI Pro 2.0 was rated on par with Word 2.0. It would
- make sense that AMI Pro 3.0 would be a GREAT wprd processor.
- Another thing is to analyze your needs. You might not need to get an
- expensive wordprocessor. I lived with Windows Write for several months
- before I got Word, and I liked it. I don't really use many of the functions
- of Word. I got the same work done with Write, with fewer fancy things
- getting in the way.
