- Okay, so call me an ignorant SOB. I handle alot of stuff, and I just
- can't keep up with the latest and greated of everything.
-
- I have noticed that quite a few of the maps now posted in comp.mail.maps
- contain as the first line "file {...}" with the file name contained in
- the curly braces. This is the first line in the file AFTER extraction
- with sh.
-
- Version 9 of pathalias (which is the latest I can find) simply does not
- like these lines, and consistently gives syntax errors on them. Is this
- something new? Why are they there? Is there a new version of pathalias
- that understands these things? Or must I now modify my extracting
- mechanism to ditch these lines? I do not regularly read this newsgroup
- (but I will until I get an answer to these questions).
