  10. I'm sure this is the wrong place to post this, but hopefully someone
  11. here can help.

  13. I recently started using SLIP (the SLIP8250 driver (Clarkson) and NCSA
  14. telnet) and realized that the packet driver must have some interface
  15. that I could use to write an NNTP front end. The telnet program I'm
  16. using has an SMTP...

  18. I could, and will, if necessary, digest the source to the telnet program
  19. and see how this all works, but that would be weeks. What I'm hoping is
  20. that someone has a spec for the driver that I could have a copy of.

  22. Am I being too hopeful in thinking that there's such a simple interface?
  23. Do I need to do all the packet work myself?

  25. Any help or pointers would be MUCH appreciated. This is an area that I know
  26. very little about, but would like to learn. Digging through source is a
  27. start, but someone's pointing finger usually helps :-)
