  12. We have been trying to use  IBM's  M-motion video and m-audio cards with
  13. Story board live as the authoring package to make some presentations 
  14. and find lot of problems. initially we stored some video frames
  15. using "Video Browser" under Windows  provided by IBM. These frames 
  16. were stored as VID files and when we try using these files in Story 
  17. board,these are not accepted. We get a message saying picture 
  18. is not in VID format. We would like to know if M_motion video card 
  19. can be used with Story board live to save some video frames and
  20. include these frames in our stories.

  22.           Later , we used the Video capture board of IBM to do the same
  23. task,without much success. It appears that with this card and Story
  24. board live,you can only capture and save Video sprites . WE were able to
  25. save some sprites but these appear only in black and white and we 
  26. find that the resolution is very poor.

  28.              We have also got the "Audio Visual Connection"
  29.  authoring package from IBM . We would like to know whether our
  30. observations with the Video capture card and the M-motion video 
  31. are limitations of Storyboard live  and wheether AVC would be a better
  32. authoring package.
