- We have been trying to use IBM's M-motion video and m-audio cards with
- Story board live as the authoring package to make some presentations
- and find lot of problems. initially we stored some video frames
- using "Video Browser" under Windows provided by IBM. These frames
- were stored as VID files and when we try using these files in Story
- board, these are not accepted. We get a message saying picture
- is not in VID format. We would like to know if M_motion video card
- can be used with Story board live to save some video frames and
- include these frames in our stories.
-
- Later , we used the Video capture board of IBM to do the same
- task, without much success. It appears that with this card and Story
- board live, you can only capture and save Video sprites . WE were able to
- save some sprites but these appear only in black and white and we
- find that the resolution is very poor.
-
- We have also got the "Audio Visual Connection"
- authoring package from IBM . We would like to know whether our
- observations with the Video capture card and the M-motion video
- are limitations of Storyboard live and wheether AVC would be a better
- authoring package.
