- [speaking of pop clients]
- |Question is, has anyone written a mail agent for unix that fulfills

- There's three:
- MH which can be compiled to use pop and smtp in inc, mailchk and post
- a version /usr/ucb/mail that uses pop, and
- Pine, the sucessor to elm, which uses IMAP.
- The pine imap server is also a pop server: the protocols are related and
- similar in general, but aimed at somewhat different uses when looked at
- in detail.
