I need recommendations for easy to use software, preferably available free(though that is not an entirely limiting factor) on a Sun workstation.
I need to develop a GUI for a FORTRAN program that routes vehicles over a large road network and keeps track of various characteristics of the road network such as the volume and density of traffic on that road. I also need to be able to zoom in on certain intersections with the mouse and make changes in some specific parameters of these intersections and then continue execution of the program with the modified values. I would also prefer to have the ability to build a road network graphically using thi
s GUI, but this is not critical. The software should not require an extensive programming background and ideally would have read to use calls for opening windows, creating menus and buttons and other similar features.
I'd really appreciate suggestions and recommendations along with details if available mailed to me direct. Thanks in advance.
