  16. There is a new version of the RTrace ray-tracing package (7.3.1) at
  17. asterix.inescn.pt [192.35.246.17] in directory pub/RTrace
  18.  
  19. I made important bug fixes and added new options, so it is expected to
  20. behave much better.
  21.  
  22. Changes:
  23. - Computational Solid Geometry works fine, at last!
  24. - Removed memory problems (thanks to Reid Judd - reid.judd@east.sun.com)
  25. - Option [O] to choose output image format (PIC or PPM)
  26. - Option [V] to control verbosity of program
  27. - Default options set for preview (low quality)

  48. - scn2sff had some problems corrected; it works fine with rtrace 7.3.1
  49. - for DOS, I have ported Eric Haines NFF scene generators and our tools
  50.   for NFF files (translator to SFF, clean, etc). They are available in
  51.   directory pub/RTrace/PC-386/src
  52.   The DOS port of RTrace is in pub/RTrace/PC-386 (rtrac731.arj and
  53.   rtprogs.arj)
  54.   There are also demo scenes and manuals...

  63. ALCHEMY) and for Brookhaven PDB files which generate SCN files.
