- I'm using emacs to edit stream-lf files I have cross-mounted from a vms account
- to my ultrix workstation. Emacs is done from the workstation, and when I do
- <ctrl>-x, <ctrl>-s, SOMETIMES (not always) it gives me the following error:
-
- Opening output file: i/O error, /usr/mypath/vmsdir.dir/vmsdir.dir/file.c

- It's very frustrating, because I can't always be certain of being able to
- save the changes I make. Anyway, has anyone ever seen anything like this
- before? - or could anyone offer any clues to where I might look for insight?
-
- Thanks.
