- I have been trying to generate the Battle-Lemarie wavelet and scaling functions
- I have had some problems in implementing the algorithm given in Mallat's
- paper in that I do not get enough points in the basic scaling function
- phi(0,0). When I dilate this function, I am not able to evaluate the dilated
- function wherever I like because of the lack of points.
-
- While implementing an alternative algorithm given in Daubechies' book ( spline
- scaling function to Battle-Lemarie scaling function via "orthonormalization
- trick") I get sufficient points but the spectrum is not coming out right.
-
- I would appreciate any hints on generating the basic wavelet and scaling
- functions in the Battle-Lemarie case. Please e-mail or post replies.
