- What is the advantage of the 16550A anyway. Using the BOCA I have been
- able to get 1650cps downloads using PC+ and DSZ. Under Windows 3.1
- using Unicom it drops to about 1580-1620cps but I am not multitasking -
- I am more interested in watching the xfer rate to see how it's going.
- Would I be able to get that rate also and do something else.

-
- Yes I paid $229 from J&R though I have seen someone say he saw it for $219.
- Just make sure you have the latest ROMs which I think are 1.2. You can
- get them by calling Boca if you can ever get through on their Tech Support
- lines.

- How unreliable is the Boca or how much better is the Zoom? I've seen
- people say who bought it from egghead that they had to return it since it
- was no good.
