- That's probably it. After I called, someone in this group mentioned that
- a finished, non-beta version of the EPROM will be out in a few weeks.
- My guess is that PPI simply doesn't want to distribute a beta at this
- late date. But they *will* give it to you if you're persistent enough.

- I think it also could simply be a matter of compartmentalization. The
- guys who answer the phones in Tech Support simply might not know that
- the EPROM programmers have a new chip ready.
