  16.    I would like to use a v.32bis,v.42, v.42bis modem under *UNIX*, either LINUX or ISC 
  17. 386/ix v. 2.2-- the goal is to run X windows over the modem through SLIP. Any help with
  18. this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks.
