- a) You have a data transfer running. The throughput achieved pretty much
- tells you the current speed. When sending ARQ flashing will show
- errors and blocks being retransmitted. For receiving, take a look at
- the RD LED. If it shows a steady stream of data and throughput is
- low, you can be sure it fell down to a lower speed, which you can
- guess from the throughput. MR will show any fall backs/forwards, etc.

- I have had mine for quite a long time now. With some experience you
- can extract a lot of information from the 12 LEDs.

- Agreed, it takes more effort compared to modems that use displays but
- you can figure out all the information you need. It just depends on the
- user's proficiency :-)
