  12. A word of warning about the Intel SatisFAXtion 400 internal 14.4 fax
  13. modem -- not only does it have a number of annoying bugs, but it has a
  14. fairly serious flaw:  Since the 400 has no non-volatile storage for
  15. firmware, the firmware must be downloaded each time the system is turned
  16. on.  The problem is that Intel only provides a DOS downloader, with no
  17. plans to support NT or UNIX.  The workaround for OS/2 is to download the
  18. firmware in a DOS boot session.  In other words, the SatisFAXtion modem
  19. is a DOS-only modem!
