- Hi,
-
- My old modem for my PC finally went dead. I am thinking to replace it with a
- better one. I am considering an inexpensive (abound $200), fast (> 9600bps)
- internal modem. I found out the following stuffs:
-
- 1. Boca Research 14.4kbps/internal ($219 from Future Source)
- 2. PC Logic V32/Internal ($219.95 from Lyco)
- 3. ZOOM V32 with V42bis and MNP 5 ($219 from Microcomputer Concepts)
- 4. Infotel (from Midwest Micro)
- 5. Speedmodem (from Compucon)
-
- I have no idea about the products and those vendors. Could somebody who
- has experiences with them please give me some advice?
-
- Thanks a lot. Please email me. I will summarize on the net if I get enough
- responses.
-
- H.J.
