  22. Well, yes and no.  You can buy a used Trailblazer with BA4.00 proms or
  23. buy a new one and downgrade the proms to BA4.00 and have a fully
  24. functional second channel.  From a Sparc SLC just connect a 25-pin
  25. straight cable and fire up two tips or cu's.  Both SLC and Trailblazer
  26. are wired for primary and alternate rs232 connections on one cable.
  27. The only caveat is that if you want to use the alternate modem channel
  28. you have to initiate the modem commands from that channel.  You can't
  29. dial from the primary and then switch to the secondary, you have to
  30. dial from the secondary.

  32. Too bad the software for driving the secondary channel got broken in
  33. the later prom releases.
