  14. I am using a Practical Peripherals 9600SA hooked up to a MacIIci with a Hardware
  15. Handshake cable.  The software in question is ZTerm
  16.  
  17. My problem is that when I am downloading files, and I switch to another
  18. application so that ZTerm can run in the backround, the modem hangs up.
  19. This only happens with ZTerm, not other communications programs.  I tried
  20. to set the DTR so that it ignores the signal, but no dice.

  22. If someone could help with this problem, I would really appreciate it.
