- One thing I've noticed is that cellular links seem to have fairly
- long transmission latencies and may have a noticable echo from the
- distant end. I often can hear echo from the distant end on my cell
- phone. Qualitatively, it sounds like a delay of around 0.05 second
- with only about -20 dB attenuation. The effect is more pronounced
- when talking between two cell phones.
