- I haven't seen anyone mention it in this thread yet so I thought I
- would recommend the position paper "Against Software Patents" by the
- League for Programming Freedom (available by e-mail on request from
- league@prep.ai.mit.edu) to people interested in the effects on this
- and similar patents on programmers. There are a lot of misconceptions
- out there and this paper should help clear some of them up. We now
- return you to your regularly scheduled flame war.
