  18. Hmm, you're right!  I just looked, and a new Zoom Owner's Manual ("Internal 
  19. 2400bps Modem With Send/Receive Fax for IBM PC-Compatible Computers") 
  20. doesn't even say Zoom anywhere in it!  (Probably this is a generic manual 
  21. which they also bundle with the modem for re-labelling by other companies.  
  22. I rate the manual itself as pretty good, short but sweet for normal modem 
  23. use; nearly no fax info, though.)

  25. However, the following info appears in the non-mail-in portion of the 
  26. very-clearly-labelled "Zoom Telephonics Customer Support and Warranty 
  27. Policies" heavy card which was packed with that manual:
  28.    If you have any questions regarding the installation or operation of your 
  29.    ZOOM product, you may call our Customer Support Department at (617)423-1076 
  30.    fom 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.  Before 
  31.    calling, please gather all information relating to the problem.  This will 
  32.    make it easier for our representative to understand the problem and offer 
  33.    assistance.

  38. These numbers are in Boston, Massachusetts.  It appears that Zoom still 
  39. does not offer any 800-number or E-mail address.
