- No, this simply won't work. The "null modem" style connection
- only works for a network of two stations. All Ethernet-oid systems
- require a logical bus topology: this means that every station must
- be able to hear every other station. The Y-cable arrangement violates
- this. Unlike ring networks, Ethernet/802.3 stations do not repeat
- receievd transmissions.
