  12. Hi Ingres Gurus,

  14. I am going to develop an application using Ingres 4GL, I would like to be able
  15. to enter the search criteria in Subscript and Superscript e.g.
  16. H2O as H then subscript 2 then O rather than string H2O. Ingres then
  17. retrieve rows and columns and display results as Subscript and Superscript
  18. strings on the screen (character-based terminals). It must be WYSIWYG i.e 
  19. H2O must be displayed as H then subscript 2 then O in the column or field.

  21. Has anyone done this before in anyway or form ?

  23. Is there a 3rd Party Package out there we can use as a front end to Ingres
  24. which supports Superscript and Subscript ?

  26. Do we need a graphics-based terminal to display the Superscript and
  27. Subscript characters?

  29. We are using Ingres 6.4 (No Windows) on Pyramid UNIX platform. All suggestions 
  30. or comments are welcome.
