- I had the same problem with the PADS-package.
- My workaround was to create the necessary directories on my
- harddisk (the Install-Programm says which subdirectories
- it needs),
- copy the self-extracting exec's into the appropriate
- directories and execute them.
- Then I called the pinstall - Programm to perform the
- hardware setup (Graphics card, Printer, ...)

- The PADS programms are a great deal for the money ($0.00)
- but seem to have some bugs (e.g if you create an bus
- in PADS Logic and try to make many connections (>3)
- to one signal of the bus, you get an error message which
- says something of an 'net name conflict'.
