  12. For whatever difference actual use makes, I say 'siss-op', 'moe-dem', 
  13. and 'gif' (hard g. i can't even think of any other way to indicate
  14. that word should be pronounced with a hard g, other than how it's 
  15. spelt).

  17. What I'm curious about, is how do you folks pronounce 'GNU'?  
  18. 'Nu' is proper (for the animal, anyway) but i've never heard anything 
  19. but 'ge-nu' used for the software.
